The sun's blaze pierces through a gallery of trees As if he were spreading his arms in pride, The trees are waving along the breeze Taking low and high stride. The lonely afternoon creates a nonchalant blanket, And his thoughts wander here and there The silence intensifies, the void widens, And its darkness hits with its terrifying glare The heart cries out to meet his friends As if it was lonely for a long time. The eyes swell up with memories of past And he hears the present whisper" You are mine". The mind shrinks in the midst of the heat, And the melancholy subdues the curious kid, Then as some time passes by, a voice vibrates from deep within, That makes him to again stand on his feet. The music of smooth breeze flows through his soul And the leaves start dancing along its beat The lonely kid wipes his wounds out, As he starts walking down a lifeless road with utmost grit.
